Your
Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustment

What to Expect During an Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments involve gentle, controlled movements to improve spinal alignment and restore proper nerve function. Here is what you should know:

  • Adjustments cause a change of pressure within the joint - the popping sound is simply gas being released
  • Many patients feel immediate relief following treatment
  • Some may experience mild soreness that typically fades within 24 hours
  • Techniques are adapted to each patient - gentle methods are used for children and pregnant women
